The Office of International Relations plays an important role in the development and recognition of each higher education institution. The Department of International Relations is one of the structural components of the Medical-Social Institute of Tajikistan and its aim is implementing of organizational activities and coordination of the institute in the area of ​​international relations, integration into the global education system and increasing the prestige of the MSIT on the world stage. The Department of International Relations has collaboration with many higher educational institutions of foreign countries, and one of its main directions is establishing cooperation with international organizations and institutes for training highly qualified personnel and attracting leading educational and foreign centers for mutual   cooperation in different spheres of the academic environment.
Successful connections of the institute are the great importance in improving of the professional level of specialists in the field of education and medical trainings, science and innovation, and research work. The purpose and content of the activities of the  International Relations Department in MSIT is the development and approval of agreements with educational institutions  and universities of foreign countries, the exchange of teachers and students, the development of educational and methodological literature, the development and implementation of international projects, the organization and holding of joint conferences and seminars, the organization of meetings and round tables with representatives of foreign universities, international organizations, institutions and foreign language courses, providing visas to foreign teachers and students, as well as working with foreign students, who are studying at the Medical -Social Institute of Tajikistan.

      Department of international relations was opened by the order of the Rector of the Non-governmental educational institution "Medical-Social Institute of Tajikistan" on 29.08.2021 and operates according to the regulations and statutes of the Institute. The main goal of Department is to improve the direction of international relations, integrate it into the world education system, increase the prestige of the Institute in the world arena, and train highly qualified specialists who meet the requirements of  Time.

     Department of international relations closely cooperates with higher education institutions of foreign countries, and one of its main directions is to establish cooperation with international organizations and universities to train highly qualified specialists and attract leading educational and foreign centers for mutually beneficial relations.

       Today, students from the Republic of India, Uzbekistan, Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Malaysia, Bangladesh and Nigeria are studying at NEI "Medical-Social Institute of Tajikistan". At the same time, Institute establishes mutually beneficial cooperation with higher educational institutions of foreign countries and international organizations, and also participates in international investment projects.

                      The main areas of the Department include the following activities:

  • Organization and development of mutually beneficial cooperation with leading educational and scientific institutions of the world, preparation of joint cooperation programs in the field of education and science:
  • facilitating the Institute's participation in international educational programs;
  • facilitating the participation of professors and teachers and university students within the academic exchange program;
  • to facilitate the passing of professional training of employees abroad;
  • facilitating cooperation with higher education institutions of foreign countries, medical institutions and scientific-research organizations;
  • implementation of international activities, conclusion of cooperation agreements with higher educational institutions, foreign partners and international organizations;
  • assistance in searching for grants for international and scientific education;
  1. Recruiting foreign citizens for training, training and internship at the Institute;
  2. Support visa access for visitors and foreign citizens studying at the Institute.
  1. Department of international relations of NEI “MSIT” is included in the structure of the Institute and is headed by the Head of Department of international relations.
  2. Department operates on the basis of the Rules of NEI “Medical-Social Institute of Tajikistan” and this Regulation. In its activities, Department is guided by the laws, regulations of the Republic of Tajikistan and internationally recognized standards. 
  3. Department and its subdivisions constitute a single system of this Department.
  4. Department is responsible for maintaining relations of Institute with educational institutions of foreign countries, international organizations. In accordance with the established procedure, collects information about studying abroad.
  5. Head of Department is personally responsible for organizing the work of the Department.

                        Responsibilities of Department

  1. Implementation of the concept of Institute in the field of international relations;
  2. Continuous work to improve international relations of NEI “MSIT”;
  3. Coordination of international relations in all areas of its activities;
  4. Establishing relationships with other domestic and foreign institutions on academic education and international cooperation;
  5. Cooperation in the field of regular collection of foreign information in the field of pre-university and post-graduate education.
  6. Determination of the priority, planning of current activities and prospective Department.
  7. Collection and analysis of information on the international activities of NEI “MSIT” and preparation of a report on it;
  8. Cooperation of Institute in the preparation of high-level specialists;
  9. Attraction of scientists, teachers and highly qualified specialists from abroad to work at the Institute;
  10. Cooperation in organizing and conducting joint research, design and research work, as well as justified experimental work with foreign partners;
  11. Support of the Institute's researchers in their entry to the world market;
  12. To promote the development and implementation of effective forms, methods and tools for training specialists of different qualifications through international cooperation.
  13. To promote the development of the library fund of NEI “MSIT”.
  14. To participate in cultural events of Institute.
  15. To assist in solving financial issues by attracting funds from foreign sponsors.
  16. Department carries out the tasks assigned to it in connection with other divisions of Institute.

                       Responsibilities of Department

  1. Independently or jointly with interested Departments of the Institute, develops and submits to the Academic Council of NEI “MSIT” proposals for improving the international relations of the Institute;
  2. Study and summarize the best foreign experience in the field of professional dissemination at a university, university and postgraduate school and take measures for its wide dissemination;
  3. Coordinates research work carried out by teachers and students of NEI “MSIT” in cooperation with foreign partners;
  4. Control over the implementation of decisions of the Supreme Council, orders and orders of Rector on issues within the competence of Department.
  5. Determines the specific directions of international relations of Institute, formulates their basic principles and, if necessary, takes into account the opinions of other departments of the Institute;
  6. Carries out propaganda and informational work on the activities of Institute, to find foreign partners;
  7. Supports teachers, students and structures of the Institute in organizing and conducting events at the Institute;
  8. Consider applications and complaints on issues that are within the competence of the department in accordance with the same regulations, take the necessary decisions on them and respond to incoming;
  9. Promotes academic exchange of staff and students of the Institute with institutions of foreign countries;
  10. Develops draft agreements between Institute and foreign partners and upon their arrival initiates their implementation;
  11. Ensures the participation of representatives of Institute in events organized by foreign partners in the prescribed manner;
  12. Speeches of the staff of Institute in the foreign press and foreign radio and television, as well as in other;
  13. Provides the preparation of the necessary documents for traveling abroad for employees and students of NEI “MSIT”;
  14. Coordination and control over the implementation of work arising from agreements, contracts and other documents of cooperation of Institute with foreign partners;
  15. In accordance with the established procedure, provides information on issues related to the competence of the department, interested persons and departments of Institute;
  16. Keeps records and analysis of foreign trips of employees and students of the Institute;
  17. Carries out work on the admission of foreign students in accordance with the agreements;
  18. In accordance with the established procedure, submits to the Rector of Institute on international cooperation;

                              Department Rights

  1. Within the limits of its powers, represents Institute in state, public and international organizations, maintains official correspondence with them on international relations;
  2. Organizes meetings, seminars, conferences, exhibitions, etc. in the prescribed manner;
  3. In agreement with the rector of Institute, it will attract scientists and specialists to participate in international events, determine the most effective ways to use materials obtained as a result of international relations;
  4. Checks the work of structural divisions of Institute on the implementation of contracts concluded with foreign partners;
  5. In the prescribed manner, get acquainted with reports, documents and other written works of structural units of NEI “MSIT”;
  6. Participate and encourage the participation of others in international programs to improve higher and postgraduate professional education;
  7. May exercise personal legal authority under a power of attorney issued by the leadership of Institute;

Duties of the Head of Department of international relations:

  1. Development of a work plan for the Department;
  2. Planning and control of international relations of all departments of the Institute;
  3. Summing up the results of the international activities of the Institute and its structural units, preparing reports on them;
  4. Preparation of letters, certificates, various information on international relations of the Institute and its structural divisions in accordance with the instructions of the rector, development and submission for consideration and approval of the Academic Council of the list of specialties, conditions of admission and training of foreign citizens;
  5. Preparation of proposals for international relations in the field of science and technology, as well as training of specialists;
  6. Carrying out other activities related to the foreign economic activity of the Institute and its departments;

                        Duties of the specialist of the Department of international relations:

  1. Preparation documents for Department;
  2. Preparation of documents for foreign teachers and students;
  3. Preparation and submission of monthly reports of the department staff to the accounting Department of the Institute;
  4. Performing other tasks related to the technical support of the international activities of the Institute and its subdivisions.
