The Department for Youth Work at the NEI Medical and Social Institute of Tajikistan is one of the Institute's constituent units. For the successful realisation of goals and purposes, the Institute has established continuous cooperation with state and public organizations, especially youth organizations.

The Department for Youth Work has the following goals and objectives:

• Participation in the implementation of a unified state policy on the realization of the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan "On Youth and State Youth Policy";
• Facilitate the development and implementation of regulatory documents in higher education on student affairs;
• Realizing the creative potential of students, staff, and young scientists.
• Development of cooperation, strengthening of friendship, unity of youth, students and young scientists;
• Protect the rights of students, regardless of race, nationality, religion, social status to professional training and education;
• - Involving youth and students in managing and leading youth organizations and associations;
• - Educating students in the principle of respect for national values, customs, language and habits of the peoples living in the republic;
• Organizing student councils, unions and organizations;
• The development and submission for approval by the Academic Council of the Institute, specific programs and projects to improve the living conditions of students, staff and young scientists;
• - Supporting and contributing to the development of students' culture and creativity;
• Supporting and implementing useful programs aimed to develop students' civil society;
• - Establishing useful contacts and cooperation with youth organizations;
• - Protection and realization of the rights of students, staff, young scientists and their organizations;
• - Study and systematization of students’ proposals and their organizations on the issue of improving the implementation of the law "On Youth and Implementation of State Youth Policy". Supporting social, cultural, entertainment programs of students and their organizations;
• Organization of festivals, conferences, meetings, seminars, scientific consultations and other events for students and young scientists.
