Educational process
The educational process at the Institute is conducted at 22 departments. There is also a clinical, scientific and educational center at the Institute, along with this, Institute has a cooperation agreement with 36 medical, preventive and clinical institutions in the city of Dushanbe. The formation of the structure of educational departments is determined by state educational standards, the content of curricula with the requirements of vocational education programs. The educational structure is an ever-changing component of the Institute and is constantly being improved in order to develop education, new modern medical directions, and practical healthcare. NEI "Medical - Social Institute of Tajikistan" has 5 faculties: Treatment work, Psychological medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy and Social medicine.
The total number of students at the NEI "Medical - Social Institute of Tajikistan" is 2,638, including 71 students from 7 countries: Uzbekistan, Afghanistan, Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Nigeria and Malaysia.
The educational process has been established on the basis of new educational programs, state educational plans and standards adapted to international standards of sectoral medical education approved by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan. The training is conducted in 3 languages: Tajik, Russian and English.
The priority aspects of learning are the introduction of modern educational technologies. Students' clinical skills take place in close collaboration with the Practical Skills Training Center, which works with advanced technologies (simulators, models, phantoms, medical equipment and visual learning tools).
Institute's development program is carried out within the framework of several projects, such as: reconstruction of the educational content, educational, research and innovation activities, human resource development, medical activities, international cooperation, reconstruction of the material and technical base and its infrastructure, information support, financial and economic activities of the Institute.
The mission of the non-governmental educational institution "Medical - Social Institute of Tajikistan" is primarily the training of highly qualified specialists with good professional skills, skills and competencies for the field of healthcare and social protection of the population of the Republic of Tajikistan.
Institute uses innovative teaching methods, within which students can conduct experimental activities in Republican medical centers, medical and preventive institutions of the city of Dushanbe, as well as in all regions of the country.
Regular reconstruction of the material and technical base, curricula, educational standards and advanced training of the Institute's teaching staff, as well as innovative teaching methods, contributes to the quality training of specialists.
