Faculty of Pharmacy in order to properly implement the educational process at the National Educational Institution “Medical-Social Institute of Tajikistan” and train highly qualified specialists who meet modern requirements, based on the order of the Rector of the Institute (together with the Faculty of Dentistry) dated 02/25/2021 under No. 04-40a.
Simultaneously with the start of the activities of this faculty from March 2021 to October 2021, the responsibility of the Dean of the faculty was assigned to the Dean of the medical faculty, candidate of philological sciences Rizoeva Gulnora Ikromovna. Then, by order of the Rector of the Institute, Egamov Mohira Malikovna was appointed Dean of the faculty from 10/01/2021 under No. 04-156.
By order of the Rector of the Institute dated September 1, 2023 No. 04-434, the position of Dean of the faculty was assigned to the candidate of chemical sciences Boboev Muhammadiso Ubaydulloevich.
In order to properly establish the education system and further train talented personnel, the Department “Pharmaceutical technology, pharmacognosy, organization and economics of pharmacy, pharmacology and clinical pharmacology, pharmaceutical service and pharmaceutical information” was openo at the Faculty of Pharmacy. established by order of the Rector of the Institute dated January 27, 2022 No. 04-28.
The first Director of this Department from 2022 to 2023 was Candidate of chemical sciences Shamsiddinov Amriddin Jamoliddinovich, and from September 2023 to the present day, the position of diRector of the Department was assigned to Candidate of biological Sciences Jamshedov Jamshed Nazarshoevich.
At Department there is 1 candidate of biological sciences: Jamshedov Zh.N., 1 candidate of technical sciences Davlatmamadova M., 2 candidates Kholov S. B., Zokhidov N.S. act.
Teachers of the Department, together with domestic pharmaceutical companies, have processed and launched into production 7 types of medicines based on biologically active substances:
- Maklufer ointment (ferula + maclura), MLM-Pharm LLC
- Rise of Psoralen. MLM-Pharm LLC
- Solution “iodak + chamomile + calendula”. MLM-Pharm LLC.
- Solution “iodac + zinc + ascorbic acid”. MLM-Pharm LLC
- “Ideal” shampoo. MLM-Pharm LLC
- Cream “Sita”. LLC “MLM-Pharm”
- Chitinidazole ointment, Nazar-Pharm LLC
Also, based on the pharmaceutical materials produced, the teachers of the Department received two patents:
- Jamshedov J.N. Patent No. Tj 1436) 11/28/2023 Treatment of mastitis in animals.
- Shamsiddinov A. Kholov S.B., Akhmadov A., Musozoda S.M., Mezhgoni Sorbon., Makhsudov K.S., Rakhmonov A.U., Ragimov I.F., Musaev R.S., Sayfulloeva M. Patent No. TJ 1376) on the cemetery entitled “Composition for the treatment of patients with organs of the ENT” dated January 19, 2023.
Department has a scientific club for students, which is useful for improving and enhancing the theoretical and practical knowledge of students. It is planned to select the best graduates of this specialty in the future to work as teachers at the Department of the faculty and engage in scientific work.
Department staff have prepared textbooks and electronic literature on a number of subjects, which allows students to familiarize themselves with methodological instructions and lectures, take tests and tests.
At the faculty, the educational process is carried out in accordance with the Regulations on the credit education system, in accordance with the program and curricula approved by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan. The quality of specialist training is determined by the acquired skills and abilities. For this purpose, the educational standard provides for various types of internships (educational, industrial), which are carried out on the basis of medical institutions, pharmaceutical institutions, pharmacies, pharmaceutical production enterprises, as well as in the pharmaceutical center “Pharmacy”, which will be organized at the Institute
In the first year of the establishment of the Faculty of Pharmacy, 43 students were admitted to the full-time Department. At this faculty, students study in two languages (Tajik and Russian). In the 2023-2024, the number of students admitted to the Faculty of Pharmacy was 190 people. Currently, 314 students are studying at this faculty.
The five-year training period ends with a final state certification, and graduates are awarded the qualification “Pharmacist” and a state diploma in the specialty “Pharmacy”.
