HISTORY OF THE DEPARTMENT

           The Department of "Human Anatomy and Latin Medical Terminology" was established as an independent department based on the order of the rector of the non-state educational institution "Medical-Social University of Tajikistan" dated January 27, 2020 No. 04-29. Until now, the department is part of the "Medical-Social College of Sh. Dushanbe" worked as a department of "Morphological Sciences". From that time acting head of the department senior teacher Rahmatulloev A.A. is assigned The department has been operating since its establishment in accordance with the work plan of the department, regulations of the department, decisions and orders of the Ministries of Education and Science, the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Tajikistan and other regulatory and legal documents and the Decisions of the Council of Scientists and the Board of the "Medical-Social University of Tajikistan" has started. The department in the institute is the main base for training highly qualified personnel in the field of medicine.

1. Increasing the level and quality of knowledge and practical skills of students in the field of human anatomy and the Latin language, developing their personality and outlook.
2. To improve the educational efficiency of subjects of human anatomy and the Latin language, covering classes using modern teaching methods and technology.
3. Organization and conduct of scientific-methodical events, scientific-practical seminars, open and sample trainings, conferences and seminars, scientific weeks, etc.).
4. Enrichment of the educational process with the results of the latest scientific research.
5. Preparation of methodological instructions and educational literature.

EDUCATIONAL WORKS OF THE DEPARTMENT

       The teaching of human anatomy and Latin medical terminology is aimed at forming the knowledge of the basics of anatomy in the future medical worker as a science that is directly related to his professional activity. It includes topics of human anatomy and its functions, the structure of the human body, its systems, organs and tissues based on the modern achievements of macro- and microscopic anatomy, physiology, biology in the dialectic philosophy of materialism, in accordance with the educational and clinical issues of the institute. It covers basic medical issues.

           In the department, students of the 1st and 2nd courses of the Faculty of Medicine, 1st courses of the Faculties of Dentistry, Pharmacy, Faculty of Social Work and Medical Psychology are studying human anatomy and the Latin language, and students of the 3rd year of the Faculty of Medical Psychology are studying the functional anatomy of the central nervous system. are studying It should be noted that students are taught in the state languages, Russian and English.

EDUCATIONAL-METHODICAL ACTIVITY

              In order to carry out educational activities, the department is constantly working on the preparation of teaching-methodical instructions for students of all faculties. In recent years, the staff of the department has published new lecture courses with new sample and work programs that are the basis of professional medical education. The new programs are prepared in the state languages, Russian and English according to the state standard of higher professional education. They determine the goals and objectives of the discipline, the requirements for mastering the content of the discipline, thematic plans of lectures, practical exercises and thematic plans of independent work of students in accordance with the provisions of the credit system of education. Over the years of the department's activity, 11 educational programs (syllabi), texts of lectures on the subject of human anatomy for students of medical, pharmaceutical, stomatological, medical psychology and social work faculties have been prepared in official languages, Russian and English. For each subject, 300 tests for distance exams and 200 exam questions for students of the above-mentioned faculties have been prepared in the department.

SCIENTIFIC - RESEARCH WORKS

The department operates on the basis of the plan of scientific-research activities, in the direction of development of scientific potential, activation and improvement of qualifications, attraction of talented young people in the field of science.

In order to improve the quality of training of specialists in the field of therapeutic work, medical psychology, stomatology, social work and pharmacology, to awaken creative activity to scientific research and conclusions, to deepen the study of certain specialized subjects, to strengthen the theoretical knowledge and practical skills acquired by students in the study of separate subjects, as well as in order to implement the decision of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan dated March 31, 2022 (under No. 148) on the action plan for the implementation of the integrated state program for the training of personnel of the social protection system for the period up to 2030 in the department from 10.10. in 2022 (under No. 546a) by order of the vice-rector for science and innovation Akhmedov A. Scientific club "Young doctors" was established under the department of "Human anatomy and Latin medical terms". Scientific club according to the work plan of the deputy rector for science and innovation, associate member of the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan, professor A.A. Akhmedov. approved, discussed topics and conducts events.

December 16-17, 2022 at the Medical University of Sh. Samarkand J.U. III International Olympiad of students of universities and medical institutes was held. In it, the teachers of the department prepared 22 students of "Tajikistan Medical and Social University" in the subjects of "Human Anatomy", "Histology" and "Normal Physiology". All students performed online and received a "Certificate".

On February 28, 2023, the 3rd international scientific-practical conference of students dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Tashkent Medical Academy was held in Tashkent, where the 2nd year student of the Faculty of "Therapeutic Work" Ashurkulov Eazozbek under the leadership of the assistant of the department Kiyobekov B.L. presented online with a report on the topic "Psycho-emotional condition of students of the medical institute" and won the 3rd place. On 28.04.2023, the Republican Olympiad "Avitsena-2023" was held at the Abuali Ibni Sino National Technical University, in which 6 students of "Tajikistan Medical and Social University" participated and received a certificate. May 25-26, 2023 at the medical institute of Sh. Fergana J.U. The international competition "Anatomical drawings" was held in 6 nominations, in which students of the 12th group of the 1st year of the KT Abdulloeva M. and Hamidzoda M. they won the 2nd place.

In the two years of the department's activity, 2 teaching manuals, 3 articles and 5 summaries were published by the teachers of the department at international and national conferences and in the journals of the National Academy of Sciences.

EDUCATIONAL WORKS

Educational work is one of the main parts of the department's activity, and it is carried out during educational hours, practical training, reading lectures. Educational work in the department according to the plan of the deputy rector for education N.I.P., Okhunov B.Kh. Agreed and approved. The educational work plan of the department includes the participation of the department in all state events, physical dates and socio-educational events. Educational activities are aimed at increasing the level of knowledge and culture of students, as well as expanding their horizons and outlook.

In this case, educational and educational activities are conducted together. Employees of the department constantly talk with students about education and compliance with the form, discipline and internal routine in the department and the university.

In the "Human Anatomy and Latin Medical Terminology" department, according to the work plan of the department, various issues regarding educational activities were discussed. Educational works are carried out on the following topics: implementation of the provisions of the laws of the Republic of Tajikistan: "On the responsibility of parents in the education and upbringing of children", "On the regulation of traditions and holidays and ceremonies in the Republic of Tajikistan". At the same time, in the classrooms, the teachers held agitation activities, talks and meetings with the students on the relentless fight against terrorism and extremism, extremism and other undesirable phenomena, prevention of youth joining extremist groups. Educational hours are held in all educational groups on family education, manners and psychology of communication, concept of beauty, attraction of students to historical places, sanctuaries of Tajikistan.

     The Department of "Human Anatomy and Latin Medical Terminology" is located on the second floor of the Medical and Social University of Tajikistan. The department has 10 classrooms, 2 lecture halls and an anatomical hall. In the basement of the Institute there is a room for storing dry and wet organs. All classrooms are equipped with banners and didactic visuals. There are 3 electronic whiteboards and 3 multimedia with collapsible screens in the department. In the "Anatomical Hall" (Anatomical Museum) of the department there are more than 40 types of bones and individual organs, as well as 50 tablets about different systems of the human body.

The teachers of the department use modern effective teaching methods to make the training interesting and to attract students to learning. Multimedia slides, videos, and electronic boards are used in practical exercises and lectures for better learning of educational materials. Lesson topics are displayed in the classrooms. Students are also preparing for classes by learning about banners, flags and individual parts.

During training and other educational activities, the department makes extensive use of audio-visual materials.

The department regularly conducts open model lessons and technical clubs with the active participation of students.
