HISTORY OF THE DEPARTMENT

The Department of Normal and Pathological Physiology was created as an independent department on August 1, 2023 No. 04-280 based on the order of the rector of the NOU Tajikistan Medical and Social University. Until now, the department functioned as the department of “Morphological Sciences” as part of the “Medical and Social University of Tajikistan”. at that time the acting head of the department was senior lecturer A.A. Rakhmatulloev. were appointed. After the independent creation of the department of D.I.T. Professor Shukurov F.A. The department has been operating since its establishment in accordance with the work plan of the department, regulations on the department, decisions and orders of the Ministries of Education and Science, the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Tajikistan and other regulatory documents and decisions of the Council of Scientists and the Board of the University of Medical and Social organizations of Tajikistan". The department at the institute is the main base for training highly qualified personnel in the field of medicine.

MAIN AREAS OF ACTIVITY OF THE DEPARTMENT OF “NORMAL AND PATHOLOGICAL PHYSIOLOGY”

1. Increasing the level and quality of knowledge and practical skills of students in the field of normal and pathological physiology, the formation of their personality and worldview.
2. Increasing the educational effectiveness of subjects of normal and pathological physiology, including training using modern teaching methods and technologies.
3. Organization and conduct of scientific and methodological events, scientific and practical seminars, open and selective trainings, conferences and seminars, scientific weeks, etc.).
4. Enrichment of the educational process with the results of the latest scientific research.
5. Preparation of guidelines and educational literature.
6. Increasing the level of educational, moral, ideological, political and educational activities of students.
7. Advanced training and retraining of teachers.
8. Research cooperation with other state educational institutions and research institutes.

STAFF OF THE DEPARTMENT OF “NORMAL AND PATHOLOGICAL PHYSIOLOGY”

There is 1 doctor of medical sciences, professor F. A. Shukurov working at the department. In the 2023 academic year, the staff of the department will consist of 10 people, of which 5 main teachers - Shukurov F.A., Shokirova M.Sh., Nazarova S.G., Tabarov M.Kh., Safarmatova M.Kh., 5 co-teachers . - Dzhabborov F.Sh., Saidova F.M., Kurbanova A.N., Abdulloeva M.Sh., Sobirova M.M.

EDUCATIONAL WORK OF THE DEPARTMENT

      Training in normal and pathological physiology is aimed at developing in the future medical worker knowledge of the basics of physiology as a science directly related to his professional activities. In accordance with the educational and clinical objectives of the institute, subjects of normal physiology, its systems, organs and tissues are included, based on the achievements of modern physiology, biology in the dialectical philosophy of materialism. It covers basic medical issues.

At the department, 2nd and 3rd year students of the Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Dentistry, Faculty of Pharmacy, Faculty of Social Work and Medical Psychology study subjects of normal and pathological physiology. It should be noted that students are taught in the state languages ​​- Russian and English.

EDUCATIONAL AND METHODICAL ACTIVITIES

             In order to carry out educational activities, the department is constantly working on preparing educational and methodological instructions for students of all faculties. In recent years, employees of the department have published new courses of lectures with a new model and work programs, which form the basis of professional medical education. New programs are prepared in state languages, Russian and English in accordance with the state standard of higher professional education. They determine the goals and objectives of the discipline, requirements for mastering the content of the discipline, thematic plans for lectures, practical classes and thematic plan for students’ independent work in accordance with the provisions of the credit education system.

Over the years of activity of the department, educational programs (programs), texts of lectures on the subject of normal and pathological physiology have been prepared in state languages ​​for students of the faculties of medicine, pharmacy, dentistry, medical psychology and social work. , Russian and English. For each subject, the department has prepared 4,000 tests for remote exams and 200 exam questions for students of the above faculties.

RESEARCH WORKS

The department works on the basis of a research activity plan, in the direction of developing scientific potential, enhancing and improving skills, attracting talented youth to the field of science. In order to improve the quality of training of specialists in the field of therapeutic work, medical psychology, dentistry, social work and pharmacology, to awaken creative activity in scientific research and conclusions, to deepen the study of individual special subjects, to strengthen the theoretical knowledge and practical skills acquired by students while studying individual disciplines, as well as for the purpose of implementing the resolution of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan dated March 31, 2022 (under No. 148) on the action plan for the implementation of the Comprehensive State Program for training personnel in the social protection system for the period until 2030.

EDUCATIONAL WORK

Educational work is one of the main parts of the department’s activities and is carried out during study hours, practical classes, and lectures. Educational work at the department according to the plan of the vice-rector for educational work N.I.P., Okhunov B.Kh. Agreed and approved. The plan of educational work of the department includes the participation of the department in all government events, physical education dates and public educational events. Educational activities are aimed at increasing the level of knowledge and culture of students, as well as expanding their horizons and horizons.

In this case, educational and educational activities are carried out jointly. Department staff constantly talk with students about training and compliance with uniform, discipline and internal regulations at the department and at the university.

At the Department of Normal and Pathological Physiology, according to the work plan of the department, various issues of educational activities were discussed. Educational work is carried out on the following topics: implementation of the provisions of the laws of the Republic of Tajikistan: “On the responsibility of parents in the education and upbringing of children”, “On the regulation of traditions and holidays and rituals in the Republic of Tajikistan”. At the same time, in the classrooms, teachers held propaganda events, conversations and meetings with students on the tireless fight against terrorism and extremism, extremism and other undesirable phenomena, and preventing young people from joining extremist groups.

In all educational groups, training hours are held on family education, manners and psychology of communication, the concept of beauty, attracting students to historical places and shrines of Tajikistan.

The department regularly conducts open model lessons and technical clubs with the active participation of students.
