The Department of “Medical and Biological Physics with fundamentals of Information Technologies” was created on September 1, 2020 on the basis of the Regulations on the Department of Higher Professional Educational Institutions of the Republic of Tajikistan (decision of the Council of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Resolution of the Republic of Tajikistan dated August 29, 2022 No. 12/4 and earlier dated March 30, 2017) and subsection 14.6 of Article 93 of the Charter of the non-state educational institution “Medical and Social institute of Tajikistan” was approved. The Department of Medical and Biological Physics with the Fundamentals of Information Technologies is the educational and scientific structure of the institute and conducts its activities in the areas of educational, methodological, scientific and educational activities. The educational, methodological and scientific work of the department is concentrated on the specialties of therapeutic work, social work, medical psychology, dentistry and pharmacy, and also teaches medical and mathematical physics, higher mathematics, information technology and geography with the basics of demography. faculties. The “Eureka” club has been created at the department, with 25 members.Currently, the department has 10 main teachers and, 2 of them have academic degrees and scientific titles. In 2020-2021, the head of the department was Davlatov R.J., Doctor of Philosophy (PnD), Doctor of Technical Sciences; in the 2021-2022 academic year, the head of the department was Ibragimov Rakhmonali. From October 2022 to December 2023, the acting head of the department was Ph.D. Sh.M.Rakhmonov. Since January 2024, Candidate of Economic Sciences Davlyatova M.M. has been appointed to the position of acting head of the department. The educational activities of the department are carried out in accordance with the requirements of the Regulations on the credit system of education in institutions of higher professional education. The department is located on the fourth floor and has 1 lecture hall and 5 classrooms, which are equipped with optical equipment, an electronic board and a projector. The main activity of the department is aimed at implementing the State Program for the Development of Natural, Mathematical and Exact Sciences for 2020-2024. The direction of the department’s work and its main tasks in the new academic year: • Improving the quality of educational activities using modern teaching methods; Active participation of department employees in events aimed at improving the quality of specialist training (conferences and seminars, competitions and open trainings). Work begins on the preparation of materials on the credit system, the new Syllabus program and educational instructions in the subjects “Medical Physics and Mathematics”, “Higher Mathematics”, “Geography with Basic Demography” and information technology. Organization of events to improve the qualifications of each teacher of the department; A company of department teachers at public events of the Medical and Social University of Tajikistan; • Participation of department teachers in professional competitions, festive gatherings, etc. •Preparing students for republican and international competitions. • Cooperation of the department with international organizations, with hospitals and republican centers, departments of clinical subjects of DDTT named after. Abu Ali ibn Sina and other relevant structures in order to improve the training of specialists in higher medical education.
